[WATCH] CBS New Series Trailer: “Ghosts”, “NCIS: Hawai’i”, “FBI: International”, “CSI: Vegas” – Deadline



We’re getting a first look at some of CBS’s new comedy and drama series for the 2021-22 season. The network has released the trailer for its new comedy series Ghostswith Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar. We also get previews of drama series NCIS: Hawaii, Dick Wolfs FBI: International and CSI: Vegas with comments from stars, makers and producers. You can read about each and see below.

Ghosts – Comedy
Ghosts is a single-camera comedy about Samantha (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar), a cheerful freelance journalist and aspiring city cook who ignore both caution and money if they decide to convert to A huge rundown estate they inherited into a bed and breakfast – only to find it is inhabited by the many ghosts of deceased residents who now call it home. The departed souls are a tightly knit, eclectic group that includes a cheeky lounge singer from the Prohibition era, a pompous militiaman from the 18th century, a hallucinogen hippie from the 60s, an overly optimistic Boy Scout troop leader from the 80s and a Cod-obsessed Viking explorers include 1009, a shrewd financial brother from the 90s, a sarcastic and witty 16th century native, and a society wife and wife of a 19th century robber baron who is Samantha’s ancestor, to name a few . NCIS: Hawaii – Theatre
The world’s most successful television series will be continued on the seductive shores of the Aloha State NCIS: Hawai’i, Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey), the first female special agent in charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor, has prevailed equally through trust and strategy in a system that has pushed her back every step of the way. Together with their steadfast team of specialists, they balance duty to family and land and investigate high-stakes crimes involving military personnel, national security, and the secrets of the sun-drenched island paradise itself. Matt Bosack, Jan Nash and Christopher Silber are executive producers for CBS Studios. Larry Teng is executive producer and director (first episode only) based on a script by Bosack, Nash and Silber. NCIS: Hawai’i Vanessa Lachey as the responsible special agent Jane Tennant, Yasmine Al-Bustami as Lucy, Jason Antoon as Ernie and Noah Mills as Jesse.

FBI: International – Theatre
From Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, a fast-paced drama FBI: International is the third iteration of the successful FBI brand to follow the elite staff of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Fly Team. Headquartered in Prague, they travel the world on a mission to track and neutralize threats against American citizens wherever they are. The Fly team is not allowed to carry guns and relies on intelligence, quick thinking and pure muscle when it comes to risking their lives to protect the United States and its people. Dick Wolf, Derek Haas, Matt Olmstead, Arthur Forney and Peter Jankowski are the executive producers. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of the Universal Studio Group, in association with CBS Studios.

CSI: Vegas – Theatre
The continuation of the network’s global hit CSI: crime scene investigation, opens a brand new chapter in Las Vegas – the city where it all began. Faced with an existential threat that could bring the entire Crime Lab to a standstill and bring thousands of convicted murderers back to the neon-lit streets of Vegas, a brilliant new team of investigators, led by Maxine Roby (Paula Newsome), must enlist the help of old friends. Gil Grissom (William Petersen), Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) and David Hodges (Wallace Langham). This combined force will employ the latest forensic techniques to do what they do best – follow the evidence – to uphold and serve justice in Sin City. Jason Tracey is the executive producer and showrunner. Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Kristie Anne Reed, Anthony Zuiker, Carol Mendelsohn, Ann Donahue, Craig O’Neill, William Petersen and Cindy Chvatal are also executive producers. Uta Briesewitz is executive producer and director (only in the first episode) based on a script by Tracey. The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television.
