UEFA plans € 6 billion rescue package for football clubs

To reaffirm its commitment to sporting development in the country, Rite Food Limited, maker of Bigi beverages, Rite sausages and leading energy drink brand, Fearless, has announced its sponsorship of the second edition of the King’s Cup golf tournament.

The fast-moving consumer goods company will appear as the top brand at the event scheduled for October 10, 2021 in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

The Assistant Brand Manager, Beverage and Bakery, Rite Foods, Ms. Boluwatife Adedugbe, endorsed this development but said the company will continue to support sports development to connect with its consumers.

At a press conference organized by Nilayo Sports Management Limited (NSML) in Abeokuta, she stated that the company’s business is geared towards consumer satisfaction.

“As a company, we make sure we put our weight and support to work on sports platforms like the King’s Cup golf tournament because it helps us connect and get closer to our consumers.

“The golf tournament creates a unifying platform that helps us unite consumers with our brands and the people of Abeokuta, hence why we sponsor this golf tournament,” she noted.

In the second edition of the King’s Cup golf tournament, four teams compete against each other. The four teams represent the four kingdoms in Egbaland. They are Team Alake, Team Gbagura, Team Owu, and Team Oke-Ona, all of whom are fighting for the prize.

Rite Foods Limited has assured all golfers and athletes participating in the competition adequate refreshment with the provision of water points on the golf course to revitalize participants during the competition.

NSML’s General Manager / CEO, Mr. Bukola Olopade, also expressed his sincere appreciation for Rite Foods putting its weight behind the golf tournament and encouraging action by other organizations to emulate the company and also stressing that Rite Foods is the leading brand refreshing consumers across the country.

Rite Foods also receives recognitions from the Chairman of the King’s Cup Golf Tournament Local Organizing Committee, Mr. Wale Adeogun, who welcomed all stakeholders to the press conference and praised the company’s efforts in support of the competition.
