Matteo Guendouzi may have risked the wrath of some Arsenal fans with his grand admission about Tottenham’s striker Son Heung-min.
The Frenchman, who is currently on loan at Hertha Berlin, has shared the opinion of Gunners fans since arriving from Lorient in 2018, and his recent comments are unlikely to make him popular with fans.
Talk to Oh My Goal USGuendouzi was asked who he thought was the best player in the Premier League.
And he replied immediately: “Kevin de Bruyne. He is someone who is everywhere, with his passing quality, his vision of the game. For me he is one of the best midfielders in the world.”

Instead of stopping there, Guendouzi chose to name a player from Arsenal’s tough rival Tottenham.
“I would also say Son at Tottenham,” added the midfielder. “He’s a player who does a lot of good for his team.”
Solomon transfer talks
Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon has confirmed he is in ongoing talks with several Premier League clubs with Arsenal ties.
“There are talks with teams from England,” said Solomon Israeli News Agency Sport5. “There are things that can happen in summer.
“My dream is to play in England and it seems like the most realistic option for me too.
“And teams in England can pay.”
A source close to the player told Football.London in January he would be “happy” to see the 21-year-old join Arsenal but admitted that “there is still a long way to go” before a move takes place.

What Reiss Nelson did in training
Arsenal preparations for their Premier League clash with Leeds United are underway.
And after Mikel Arteta admitted that the lack of efficiency and the consequent threat to his team in the final third were a big problem for him, some of his players did additional shooting work in training.
Before Sunday’s game at the Emirates Stadium, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Gabriel Martinelli and Willian were put through their paces at the training base in London Colney.
But as seen in the picture above, it was Reiss Nelson who was in some ways the star of the session as he showed off his finishing skills.
As seen in the uploaded video clip YoutubeThe target practice begins at the 5.35-minute mark and Nelson finds the net on each of his three attempts.
It was certainly a statement from the England U21 international, who has recently been on the edge of the first-team image and last played against Newcastle United in the third round of the FA Cup last month.
Interestingly, Nelson scored the winning goal against Leeds the last time the teams met in north London a year ago. Could his appearance in training this weekend lead to a recall?
