Spain vs Switzerland: How to Watch UEFA Nations League, TV Channel, Start Time, Free Stream

Switzerland will certainly have their hands full when they take on Spain, who sit at the top of League A, Group 2, on Saturday 24 September.

In June, the two nations went head-to-head with Spain coming out on top. Pablo Sarabia scored the only goal in the 13th minute but Switzerland held their own for the rest of the game. Both teams scored seven shots, with Spain having three on target while Switzerland had just one. What really hurt Switzerland’s chances was the number of fouls committed of 21 in the 90 minutes.

The match will take place at 2:45pm ET at Estadio La Romareda in Zaragoza, Spain and will be streamed exclusively online via fuboTV. Fubo offers a seven-day free trial.

A look at what was happening in European football on Saturday:

Spain host Switzerland in Zaragoza and will be aiming for a win to retain top spot in their group ahead of a possible clash with Portugal for a place in the Nations League Final Four next June. Spain can win Group A2 if they beat Switzerland, and Portugal lose to the Czech Republic in Prague. If not, Spain and Portugal will decide who progresses as group winners in Braga on Tuesday. Cristiano Ronaldo and six other Portuguese team-mates are one booking away from missing the next game against Spain. The Czechs are only one point ahead of the Swiss, both trying to avoid relegation as the bottom of the table.

Erling Haaland’s Norway, Scotland and Israel are well placed to secure promotion to the top tier of the Nations League in the final round of League B playoffs. Fueled by Haaland’s five goals, Norway are leading Group B4 by three points over Serbia. Norway visits Slovenia while Serbia hosts Sweden. Israel lead Group B2 by five points and move up with a win over Albania. Scotland, who visit Ireland, lead Group B1 by two points from Ukraine, who are host to Armenia. There is an added bonus for the teams that win their groups – they should be seeded second in the draw for the 2024 Euros group stage.
