HOUSTON, April 13, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Riviana Foods Inc. today announced an investment from $ 15 million in his plant in Memphis, Tennessee This will improve production and expand the instant rice capacity in the plant.
In addition to renovating and upgrading existing processing lines, controls and the rice transfer system, Riviana is replacing one of the lines for the production of instant brown rice with new and improved state of the art equipment. The renovations and new installations will increase reliability, volume, productivity and efficiency and, just as importantly, promote the sustainability of the production process. The project is expected to be completed in the third quarter.
