The National Nevada Dental Association is pleased to welcome Ed De Andrade, DDS, as its new President. He succeeds Mark Funke, DDS, who remains on the NDA’s Executive Committee.

“We are very pleased, Dr. We would like to welcome De Andrade as our new President, ”said Michele Reeder, Executive Director of the Nevada Dental Association. “We are excited to be moving forward and expect a lot of great things to come.”

De Andrade specializes in Periodontics and Dental Implantology and takes great pride in providing the best possible dental care to our patients at Anthem Parodontics and Dental Implants in Henderson, Nevada.

He is also a diplomat on the American Board of Periodontology, the highest professional achievement in periodontology and an award very few periodontists achieve.

Previously, De Andrade was a part-time teacher at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine from 2003 to 2011. His work was rated as a top Las Vegas dentist by his colleagues in Las Vegas Life Magazine for two years in the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry and the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry.

He graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with a degree in dentistry, where he graduated from the top of his class and was accepted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. He then completed a two-year residency in general medicine at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York and a three-year residency in periodontics at the West Los Angeles Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
