The motorcycle racer Hugo Millan died on Sunday at the age of only 14 after a horror crash on the MotorLand Aragon racetrack in Spain.
The Spaniard was taking part in a European Talent Cup race when he fell off his bike at Turn 5 with 13 laps to go.
As soon as Millan got to his feet, he was immediately picked up by another driver, Milan Leon Pawelec, who had nowhere to go and collided with the teenager.
The red flag was immediately hoisted and paramedics rushed out to give him emergency treatment.
Millan was flown to Zaragoza hospital and despite their best efforts, the medics were unable to save him as the FIM CEV Repsol Series in which he is participating confirmed his death.
They wrote on social media: âWe are deeply sad to announce that Hugo MillÃ¡n died of his injuries after an accident in the HETC race.
