Leandro Bolmaro caught fire against MoraBanc Andorra as he led Barcelona to a 79-63 road win in Spain’s Liga Endesa.

The 20-year-old points guard, who was inducted into the 2020 NBA draft as the 23rd overall winner, shot on his way to a career high of 26 points, including 4-5 from the three-point area, 9-11 from the field.

Pau Gasol followed with 16 points and eight rebounds in 22 minutes. This was his best performance since returning from long injury-related hiatus as his playing time and contribution have gradually increased.

On the other side, Clevin Hannah scored 18 points and six assists in addition to Oriol Paulis’ 13 points.

Barca improved in second place to a 28: 4 record after Real Madrid (31: 1), but ahead of Lenovo Tenerife (25: 7). Andorra (12-16) hold the hunt for a playoff spot but getting closer to eighth-placed BAXI Manresa (15-17) won’t be an easy task.

The Madrid rivals secured their 31st win and the best start in league history (90-76) against Fuenlabrada. Jaycee Carroll scored 20 points behind on 8/14 field goals. Rudy Fernandez and Vincent Poirier each had 13 points.

The main attraction of Fuenlabrada was Bassala Bagayoko. The Malian center became the youngest player to debut in the Spanish league. He registered two points and two rebounds over nine minutes.
