IFAF elections: Meet the candidates

Nominated by the American Football Association of Austria, AFBÖ, Carl Michael Eschlböck seeks to become choice IFAF’s New finance director. Eschlböck is one of six candidates in various positions running for a three-year term, with elections taking place on December 11.

After his active time in Austria Ended in 1995, Eschlböck has quickly become an integral part of the football scene in his home country. From commenting on NFL Games to eventually become the President of the AFÖ in 2003 Eschlbock was an important part of the growth of American football in Austria.

the AFBÖs President has worked on the finance side of the sport for many years and secures funding as Vice President of sports Austria, a non-profit organization that serves the interests of sport both in Austria and in international organizations. This experience along with Eschlbocks Involvement in the board of directors Austrian Sports resorts familiarizes him first-hand with the financing of international sporting events.
