First look at the Season 1 Prom episode “Attic Girl.”

CBS has landed a big hit series with ghosts, the network’s latest half-hour comedy, and fans now have their first look at the show’s upcoming prom episode, “Attic Girl.” In the episode, the group discovers an ’80s ghost, a “mean girl” named Stephanie, played by Odessa A’Zion. Stephanie – who died on her prom night – is woken up in the attic, prompting Sam to deal with what happened on her own prom night.

The new ghost isn’t the only big surprise in the Attic Girl episode, however, as Alberta (Danielle Pinnock) will discover she has another special gift. ghosts, a CBS Original Series, returns Thursday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The show will be available Stream on Paramount+ On the next day. Fans eagerly awaiting the next episode can take a special look at some images from it below. Trade the undead for the mostly dead ones, ghosts Stars Rose McIver as Samantha, a woman who inherits a large New York estate and joins her husband Jay – played by Utkarsh Ambudkar (The Mindy Project) – to convert the species into a bed and breakfast. But unbeknownst to our unsuspecting couple, the house is being haunted by a group of ghosts that are much friendlier than scary.

ghosts is based on a BCC series of the same name and is produced by Trent O’Donnell. In addition to McIver, Ambudkar and Pinnock, the series also stars Brandon Scott Jones, Sheila Carrasco, Román Zaragoza, Rebecca Wisocky, Devan Chandler Long, Asher Grodman and Richie Moriarty.

In an official synopsis of that show, CBS describes Ghosts as “a single-camera comedy about Samantha (McIver) and Jay (Ambudkar)” who are a cheerful local freelance journalist and aspiring chef, respectively. The couple decide “to throw both caution and money to the winds when they decide to convert a huge run-down country estate they inherited into a bed and breakfast.” Once there, “they find it inhabited by the many spirits of deceased residents who now call it home”.

The synopsis continues, “The Departed Souls are a close-knit, eclectic group that includes a cheeky Prohibition-era lounge singer, a pompous 17th-century militiaman, “a cod-obsessed Viking explorer from 1009.” There’s also “a slick ’90s financier, a sarcastic and witty 15th-century native, and an 18th-century society lady and robber baron’s wife who is Samantha’s ancestor.”

ghosts is growing in popularity, and the hot comedy hit a major ratings milestone recently after its latest installment. Corresponding tv joethe show’s newest episode in four weeks, “Trevor’s Pants,” rose in total viewership and was the number one Thursday series demo for adults 18-34. TV Joe noted, “That’s right: a CBS Comedy ended up with Gen Z/Millennial viewers first.”

Above all, ghosts has one of the highest viewership growth and conversion rates of any currently broadcast TV show. The demo rating of the series from 18 to 49 fluctuated up to 0.70, Per TV Series Finale.combut never fell below 0.50. ghosts has steadily increased its viewership since its debut in October, with the March 31 episode hitting 6.2 million viewers, its highest in two months. To date the most watched episode of ghosts was the January 20 episode titled “The Vault” which guest-starred Matt Walsh (veep, the Hangover).
