Ephraim Crossing expands mixed-use community

Ephraim Crossing, the newest mixed-use community in central Utah with residential, commercial and retail space, has expanded with the acquisition of 37 acres in Ephraim. The additional acreage brings Ephraim Crossing to 128 hectares, which make up the community.

“The expansion of Ephraim Crossing continues the overall growth and development of Ephraim,” said Kevin Romney, partner at Las Vegas-based Camino Verde Group, developer of Ephraim Crossing.

As part of the expansion, Camino Verde Group also recently received approval to update Ephraim Crossing’s industrial-to-commercial zoning. For this reason, the Camino Verde Group plans to include residential, office and medical facilities in Ephraim Crossing.

The expansion follows the groundbreaking ceremony for Ephraim Crossing’s first residential complex, The Estates at Ephraim Crossing. The Estates has already completed the first four house sales within a short period of time, and the houses should be ready for occupancy by the end of the year.

“There has been widespread interest in Ephraim Crossing, from businesses looking to take advantage of affordability to residents of both state and out of state looking for world-class amenities in a small town setting,” said Romney.

The Estates is part of Ephraim Crossing’s ongoing efforts to bring a new technology center into the Snow College home. The community will offer affordable and spacious housing in 44 single family home locations. The houses vary between five model house options up to 5,500 square feet, including three single-story floor plans and two two-story floor plans.

“I am impressed with the quality of life at Ephraim Crossing and how developments are progressing,” said Ephraim Crossing Mayor John Scott. “One of the challenges we have in Ephraim is the lack of housing. The market is very narrow. These houses are an answer to one of the problems we have here in Ephraim, namely the housing shortage. “

When completed, Ephraim Crossing will include prime commercial and retail space. The first building planned for the corporate sector in Ephraim Crossing is a two-story, 32,000-square-meter tech office and co-working building.

The community is nestled between some of the state’s best outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails to explore, as well as state parks and areas for fishing, hunting, climbing, and camping.
