Ghosts ended its fall finale on Thursday with a whimsical, possession-centric storyline and will return in the New Year with even more humor, teased executive producer Joe Port.

Returns on Thursday January 6th with the rest of the episodes for its debut season. Ghosts follows a struggling young couple, Samantha, played by Rose McIver, and Jay, played by Utkarsh Ambudkar, whose dreams come true when they inherit a beautiful country house, only to find it is both falling apart and inhabited by many of the deceased previous residents will.
During the panel that Port joined in with fellow executive producer Joe Wiseman, McIver, Utkarsh, and the cast who haunt the Woodstone mansion, what happens next. Among Woodstone residents as the 2022 season continues, guest stars like Betsy Sodaro and Veepis Matt Walsh.
Ghosts will also provide more backstories for a number of characters, including Ambudkar’s Jay. McIver said Jay’s family will be featured in an upcoming episode.
The spirits will also get more time in the spotlight. An upcoming episode titled “Thor-apy”, for which the cast has read a chart, is set to focus on the life of Devan Long’s Thorfinn. Román Zaragoza, who starred as Sasappis co-star, announced that the audience will learn even more about his character, adding that his real-life father Gregory Zaragoza will appear on screen as his father.
During the panel, which also included Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Sheila Carrasco and Rebecca Wisocky, Ambudkar reflected on how the large cast has grown since the beginning of their production.
“We really developed a nice rhythm as an ensemble … technically this show is a lot of work,” he said. We have found our pace, new directors are added. I think we all know each other’s strengths and less strengths and we support each other better every day. “
For fans who can hardly wait for the new year Ghosts McIver announced that CBS will run a mini-marathon of fan-selected episodes on Thursday, December 23rd.
