Dutch Bros Coffee opens second location in El Paso in the Far East

If you’re a coffee addict, Java connoisseur, or just a drive-thru driver living or working in Far East El Paso, you’ll be glad Dutch Bros Coffee is expanding onto your side of town.

Months after debuting in Sun City on 7727 Paseo Del Norte Boulevard near Northwestern Drive, right between West Town Marketplace and The Canyons at Cimarron, the Oregon-based drive-thru coffee chain is opening its second location in El Paso.

Dutch Bros Coffee is one of the fastest growing drive-through coffee chains in the country. Headquartered in Oregon, Dutch Bros was founded in 1992 by two brothers of Dutch descent, has hundreds of locations across the western United States and is currently expanding its reach into Texas.

Where on the Far East Side and when does it open?

El Paso’s second Dutch Bros is located at 12221 Eastlake Boulevard near Rojas Drive in the newly established Eastlake Commons Shopping Center, owned and operated by River Oaks Properties.

The opening date according to its website is “01-28-2022”.

I do morning radio so it’s all about the caffeine. When I get to work, there are three things on my to-do list: 1. make coffee, 2. drink coffee, 3. everything else. For those who don’t like it as much as I do, Dutch Bros also offers smoothies, frozen drinks, teas and energy drinks

Other El Paso locations will follow

If you’re a Java-loving El Paso resident looking for new beers and flavors, keep an eye out for future Dutch Bros locations near you. The company is planning a kind of mini-invasion. The plan, as city and state documents show, calls for at least 3 more locations across El Paso in the next year or so.

The other registered projects are located at 2105 North Zaragoza on Sun Fire Blvd, 1120 McRae in the area where At Home Décor is located and a fifth in N. Mesa.

They are all in different stages of planning and construction so there is no information yet on when exactly these places will be brewed and animated.
