Danbury Record & CD Expo this weekend

Music collectors will unite in Danbury, CT this weekend.

Music fans love to collect vinyl. We all had records growing up and vinyl’s popularity began to decline with the invention of cassettes, CDs and eventually the internet which made music downloads available. But in recent years there has been a resurgence of niches for vinyl in the rock music community.

9.2 million records sold in the US in 2014, a 260% increase since 2009. UK sales also quintupled from 2009 to 2014. And sales just keep going up.

Located near the Hudson Valley just behind the Connecticut line in nearby Danbury, the Danbury Record & CD Expo is Connecticut’s premier record collecting event since 1997, bringing together the best record dealers in all of New England.

Trash American Style makes its big return with the first Connecticut record show coming to a new space. This is the first event in over 3 years, the first since COVID.
